As the culmination of the EVA project, WP4 integrates outputs from earlier work packages to
develop actionable policy recommendations. The outputs from WP1 will provide evidence to identify network attributes (such as level of internationalization, homophily in collaborations, among others)
contingent on gender, in different research disciplines. The comprehensive map of gender policies and
practices across European countries (including France) generated by WP3, will provide valuable
contextual insights. These outputs, when examined individually, represent advancements in both
gender dynamics research and policy mapping. However, it is the meticulous alignment of data and
contexts across the project that enables the concretization of gender policies through collaboration
dynamics.
A distinguishing aspect of our approach is that all data and contexts utilized in the preceding
packages were purposely defined, both disciplinarily and geographically, to facilitate the integration
of findings. WP4 comprises two tasks. Task 4.1 focuses on cross-analysis, evaluation, and the
formulation of recommendations for public policies. Task 4.2, on the other hand, aims to identify and
translate necessary changes within collaboration networks to alter gender dynamics effectively.
Deliverable:
- Report on gender policies recommendations.
- Book on gender policies in science: a comparative disciplinary analysis.
- Open-source software for correction in collaboration networks.
